Antonella Galardi, born in Florence in 1961, has been working at the University of Florence since 1982.
However, her vocation has always been linked to the world of art: in fact, she completed artistic studies, later graduating in History and Conservation dei Beni Artistici – History of Modern Art address, substantiating, in this way, her ability as a painter and her passion for the figurative arts.
His first exhibition dates back to 1987, but he subsequently participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, obtaining numerous awards and important gratifications, such as seeing his own works alongside those of Morandi and Guttuso.
Favorite techniques are drawing with graphite, sanguine, chalks, oil and acrylic painting, with which he achieves expressions of great elegance.
Her rapid and vigorous brushstrokes express a marked spontaneity, a sign of a gestural and even autobiographical painting, capable of making the artist herself the protagonist of an action painting, to which she remains linked in a powerful, almost physical symbiosis.
